Experimental audiovisual collaboration with @listeningcircuits
for the great annual BENT//BROKEN Fest 2024.
Our collab piece was selected and live-streamed as part of the virtual fest on @echo_lightwave_unspeakable Twitch.tv channel alongside many fantastic audiovisual artists world wide!

What is bent // broken fest?: An extravaganza virtual and physical of creativity and technology uniting circuit benders and bending enthusiasts to celebrate the worldwide art movement/process known as circuit bending.
The bent gear used was:
Sound: made using a live circuit bent phase shift oscillator cluster and a reappropriated aviation receiver/transceiver. [ Tarik Haskic @listeningcircuits ]
Video: made using printed Letraset dot pattern sheets, scanned multiple times to create analog scan distortions, then processed with Tachyons+ Vortex Decoder, and post-edited in Premiere Pro. [ Egle Saka ]
I do not do circuit bending myself (yet?!) and therefore appreciate the masters doing their magic work and creating these mind-bending tools for us audiovisual nerds and glitch nomads craving the beauty of errors. Shout out to @tachyonsplus
